Challenge:
The Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) is the leading authority on energy and environmental issues affecting the District of Columbia. The agency was in need of layout and design for their Sustainable DC 2.0 Plan — a 140 page document outlining the district's major planning effort to make DC the most sustainable city in the nation.
Challenge:

Approach:
Playing off of nature’s beauty, vibrancy and bounty, Seaberry created full page illustrations for each of the publications chapters and utilized intense colors and an expansive color palette to help readers become fully engaged in the District’s sustainability efforts.
