Challenge:

The DC DMV’s previous driver’s manual was a dense, text-heavy document that lacked visual appeal and ease of use. With an increasingly diverse driving population, the manual also needed to be more accessible, including translations for non-English speakers. The challenge was to modernize the manual with a user-friendly design that made essential driving information easier to navigate while incorporating a fresh, DC-centric visual identity.
